Speaking on this occasion, CM Nitish Kumar stated, “A place where 33 crore deities reside for a month will undoubtedly be sacred. I have been coming to Rajgir since my childhood, and it has undergone development in all aspects. We have already conducted a review to ensure that devotees coming here face no difficulties."
Addressing the priests he said, "Some people, posing as priests, are spreading confusion in society. I urge the priests of Rajgir to be cautious and vigilant."
State finance minister Vijay Chaudhary, who accompanied chief minister at the inaugural ceremony, said, "If a chief minister receives blessings from 33 crore deities, who can stop him and his party from progressing?"
